Warinda Goh comes from a family of restaurateurs and has spent her life surrounded by the rich traditions of Thai cuisine. Born in Bangkok’s Chinatown, she grew up immersed in vibrant food markets, family kitchens, and the unmistakable aromas of authentic Thai cooking.
At just twenty-two years old, she moved to Sydney with a dream of sharing genuine Thai flavours with a wider audience. Three years later, she opened the first Thai Foon restaurant, combining traditional recipes with warm hospitality and contemporary dining.
In 1998, Warinda was invited to establish a Thai restaurant at Sydney’s iconic Darling Harbour. Through dedication, exceptional service, and authentic cuisine, Thai Foon earned the loyalty of local guests while becoming a favourite destination for visitors from around the world.
